Do you offer free estimates?

Absolutely. We offer complimentary on-site consultations where our designer visits your property, walks the grounds with you, and shows you sample fixtures so you can see the quality firsthand. We can even do an evening demo so you can see how the lighting looks before you commit to anything.

How long does a consultation take?

Most consultations take 45–90 minutes depending on the size of your property. We take our time to understand your goals and make sure the design is exactly right for your home.

How much does outdoor lighting cost in Austin?

Residential landscape lighting systems in Austin typically range from $2,500 for a simple pathway and accent system to $15,000+ for a comprehensive estate design with dozens of fixtures. The investment varies based on property size, number of fixtures, fixture quality, and design complexity. Because we use only solid brass fixtures (not aluminum or plastic), our systems cost slightly more upfront — but they last 20–30 years versus 3–5 years for cheaper alternatives.

What kind of fixtures do you use?

We exclusively install solid brass and solid copper fixtures. Unlike the aluminum or composite fixtures used by many competitors, solid brass fixtures are naturally corrosion-resistant, develop a beautiful patina over time, and can last 30 years or more in Austin’s climate. We do not cut corners on fixture quality.

Do you use LED bulbs?

Yes — all of our systems use energy-efficient LED lamps. LED outdoor lighting uses up to 75% less electricity than halogen, runs cooler, and lasts significantly longer. Many of our clients see meaningful reductions in their electricity bills after switching from older halogen systems to our LED installations.

Is it low voltage or line voltage?

We install low-voltage (12V) systems for virtually all residential applications. Low voltage is significantly safer (especially around water features and in areas where children and pets play), uses less electricity, and is easier to adjust and expand over time. Line voltage (120V) is only used in specific commercial or specialty applications.

Installation

Will installation damage my lawn or landscaping?

We hand-trench all wire runs — we do not use trenching machines. This means your lawn, garden beds, and irrigation lines are protected. In most cases, any minor disturbance to grass disappears within one to two weeks as the turf fills back in.

How long does installation take?

Most residential installations are completed in one day. Larger estate projects may take two days. We work efficiently and cleanly, and we don’t leave until the system is fully programmed and you’re completely satisfied.

Do I need to be home during installation?

We ask that you be available at the start of the project day and at the end for the walk-through and programming. You don’t need to supervise us throughout the day — our crews are professional and trustworthy.

Controls & Operation

Do I have to turn the lights on and off manually every night?

No. Every system we install includes an automatic timer that turns your lights on at dusk and off at whatever time you choose. Many of our systems also include smart transformers that you can control from your smartphone — adjust zones, change schedules, or dim specific areas all from an app.

Can I control different lighting zones separately?

Yes — we design systems with multiple zones so you have full control. You might want your front yard lights on all night for security while your backyard lights turn off at 11 PM. We design and program the system exactly the way you want it to operate.

Maintenance & Warranties

What happens if a bulb burns out?

Just call or text us at 281-570-7552 and we’ll schedule a visit to replace it. Our LED lamps typically last 50,000+ hours, so lamp replacements are rare — but when they happen, we take care of it promptly.

Do you offer maintenance programs?

Yes. We offer annual maintenance programs that include a seasonal system check, fixture adjustments as plants and trees grow, lamp replacements as needed, and transformer calibration. Regular maintenance ensures your system looks its best year-round and catches any issues before they become problems.

What warranty do you provide?

Our solid brass fixtures come with manufacturer warranties, and we warrant our workmanship. We stand behind every installation — if something isn’t right, we’ll make it right. Contact us for specific warranty details on your project.
